We all knew it was going to happen eventually, and now the time has come: Google searches are now Google-Plus inhabited.

google personal results

Today, Google announced via their blog that their search is adding in some new features. Users that are logged into their Google Plus account will also see sprinkles of “Personal Results”, “Profiles in Search” and “People and Pages” within their searches in the popular platform. With Personal Results, Google will aid in helping you find pages and posts within your Google Plus network that relate to what you’re looking for. You will also be able to find network relevant photos based on tagged captions, comments and album titles embedded in search results pages.

Users will also be able to search for profiles within Google search by simply typing in a user’s name. The results for such a search will include the user’s profile, information that is being posted on their account and usual web results that are connected to the party being searched. And if you search for someone that you are not in a circle with, Google will prompt you to add them to your circles with a click of a button all within your usual Google search user interface.
