Eeve

Eeve

This London-based startup has recently launched a social networking app that makes photo collaboration an easy experience. With a slick and light weight UI, Eeve is doing what Color failed at: making it possible to take photos and share them with others in close proximity with simplicity, ease of use and an outstanding user experience.

Coupled with a beautiful design, which is an outstanding upgrade from their initial version, Eeve lets you create and join existing “Eeves” – which are realms where people whom are in close proximity can collaboratively tell a story through pictures, no matter the theme of the event. If you’re at a conference, party, sporting event, concert or just having coffee with a few friends, users can create these “Eeves” to capture moments to hold onto and share in the future through collaboration with other friends or complete strangers.

Eeve’s can last forever, but they can also be closed if no activity occurs for a few hours. This means the event (the “Eeve”) will no longer accept photographs for that particular mini social-community, but the commenting system will always be available, without a time limit. This means you’ll be able to re-live the moments you shared with others whenever you wish; truly saving moments in time with friends, loved one’s and strangers.

Eeve was founded by Jan Senderek (CEO & Product Guy) and Nicolas Bös (CTO & Chief Geek), and together with Philipp Wein (CCO & Partner) and Daniel Wagner (Lead Developer & Partner), whom are four entrepreneurs that are deeply passionate about the web, especially mobile apps. Their aim “is to change how we interact with people and share what we are doing once we are out and about – with the help of our mobile phones.” The Eeve team has also been apart of Mini seedcamps in London, Berlin and New York (video above), and continues to improve upon this genius product. If you want to start to use Eeve, you can request an invite through their website and be apart of photo sharing in the future.
