Currently only serving a few of the largest American cities, EveryBlock takes your address and then compiles data / news results that affect your specific city. No longer will you have to go through the paper for local information, EveryBlock will compile lists of news for various feeds and output them to you in one central location. Every Block filters an assortment of local news by location so you can keep track of what’s happening on your block, in your neighborhood and all over your city.
EveryBlock filters the information and categorizes the results into entertainment, crime, reviews and general news stories in order to give you access your most relevant information in a quick and easy to use interface. Competing with large news based websites, EveryBlock gives a more personal touch, by helping you keep an ear to your own area of residence.
