Yesterday we talked about Grafire PM, a free project management application for freelancers, and today we wanted to share Kickoff – a collaboration tool for small groups on the Mac. Designed specifically for small teams, it provides the tools that are only necessary for teamwork:
- notes, to centralize text documents
- a dashboard showing the overall activity
- files, versions and chat transfers
- lists, todos, due dates and assignments
- a private and public chat
Kickoff lets you collaborate with your team in an elegant user interface in real-time on and offline. By centralizing project data in a fast, secure as a Mac application Kickoff is able to make collaborative workspaces easier and more organized. The application also “completely integrated to your Mac environment so you can benefit from the native behavior you’re used to such as drag and drops, dock notifications, quicklook and so on.”
Kickoff runs for $19.99 / month for freelance teams (up to 4 people per project) and $49.95 for team usage (allowing up to 15 people per project).
