Let’s meet Startup, ProductMojo:
In a few sentences, tell us what your start-up is all about!:
ProductMojo is an intelligent backlog management and prioritization software that seamlessly integrates with popular backlog tools to allow product teams to make better decisions. Unlike other software out there, we don’t provide roadmapping or try and replace Jira – we focus specifically on what Jira is most clunky at: product backlog management.
Additionally, ProductMojo consolidates existing data that product managers use in making product decisions that is often disparate and spread in things like google drive, google docs, evernote, trello, etc. We bring that data together and tie it to specific backlog items and allow you to weigh the importance of each datapoint, automatically prioritizing your backlog and allowing you to gain insight into what your data says and things you might not be thinking about.
When was your startup founded? And what stage is your startup currently at?:
March 2016 – Just launched billing
Let us know a bit about your team, who are the key team members and what is their role?
Joshua Gunter: Co-founder and CEO. UI/UX. Front end development.
Brian Putt: Co-founder and CTO. Full stack development.
Kevin Fu: Co-founder and COO. Sales and marketing.
Why did you choose this particular idea and concept to build your start-up on?:
Having worked at many companies and spoken with many more, we found the same problem across the board: there is no software out there to aggregate product data and allow for easy backlog management.
Do you have any customer feedback on your product and/or service that you could share?:
Terrago has switched to a ProductMojo focused product management strategy and had this to say: This is a game changer for us. The insight we now have into our product data is amazing.
Are you looking for funding or are you open to partnership opportunities, and if so, what’s the best way for people to get in contact with you?:
We are not looking for funding but we are always open to making connections or partnership opportunities. The best way to get in touch is to contact me directly at [email protected].
Finally, do you have any other comments or information about your product that you would like to add?:
If ProductMojo is at all interesting to you, please reach out! We’d love to talk to anyone and everyone and get their feedback on what they like, what they don’t like, and what they’d like to see. If you’re interested in purchasing a license and you mention you saw us here, we’re happy to give you a 25% discount.
