One of our favorite startups in 2012 was the custom plush toy creations by Child’s Own Studio. From a child’s hand crafted imagination; they would re-create the artwork into a huggable plush toy. You can now do the same but for your furry puppy pet.
Shelter Pups will honor your puppy friend as a custom stuffed friend so you can love him or her forever. For $125 the company gathers pictures you send them and attempts to develop its appearance as a stuffed animal. From that cute tiny nose to its spotted right ear, Shelter Pups captures each minute detail to ensure as close a representation as possible
Great gifts for young ones, or a way to always hold close your furry friend. What is even better is all the proceeds made from sales goes towards animal rescue shelters. Cat lovers, the company will soon be making feline versions in 2013.
